The poster was created during a 13.1 hour poster competition at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. It is  mixture of hand drawn illustration for a humanistic touch and is a representation of how each participant carries the meaning of the race with them. It was chosen by ING Bank representatives as the runner up poster design.
